Researched and written by Roy Maryon of the Yateley Society

CARD E: A CRAMMER FOR SANDHURST?
A sample page of the enumerator's return of the 1881 census for Yateley. This features Samuel Kirchhoffer's Army School, run at The Grange. There is one other tutor, Joseph Eagleton from New York, and a dozen students, four of whom were born overseas, no doubt in British Garrisons in the Dominions.
