BATTLE OF TRAFALGAR
Henry Browne Mason entered the Royal Navy as a youngster in December 1803, when he was 12½.
Before he became a midshipman he would have served about two years, so he had probably not attained that rank when his ship, the HMS Prince served under Nelson at Trafalgar. Henry described the engagement in detail in his journal.
