This churchyard is supposedly closed, but memorials are still being added. This survey was up to date at 1997 incorporating earlier surveys where gravestones had been lost. A few gravestones lost in a rubbish heap were recovered and their details added in 2001.

Can HULFORD be true? Extraordinarily unlikely in view of the date, age and surname of the register entry, and lack of HULFORD entries at that time. Line 3: starts with a letter with a leading downward stroke and ends with "d". Conjectured text: "HENRY JOHN SELLWOOD beloved". there is certainly enough space if one of his names is contracted or omitted. Line 4: The woman's name certainly ends in Y, only bottoms of the other letters survive: they consistent with FANNY.
